| Technical Details The photographs on this page were taken with a Canon EOS 10D digital SLR. I brought my digital reportage setup with EF 16-35mm L f/2.8 and EF 28-70mm L f/2.8 lenses and 550EX flash in a LowePro Microtrekker 200. However, it was raining very heavily. The Microtrekker was not waterproof and was soaked by the end of the day. The rain prevented me from changing lenses, so all of the photographs in this series were taken with the 16-35mm. You can see some of the photos are degraded by water droplets on the front lens element. Despite being soaked, all of the equipment performed remarkably. The 10D is not watersealed but was not affected by being in the rain and performed normally. The only issue was that the viewfinder tended to fog easily. Unlike the professional series, the 10D does not have an anti-fog finder option. I used a single 4GB Hitachi micro-drive as my main storage. This meant I did not have to change cards. This was essential in the rain. I did have to change batteries once, which was a bit tricky. The 550EX functioned normally in the rain.
