Walking around with a Leica M3:
Cat at Togo Shrine / Street Scene in Ogikubo (Tokyo Japan)

I've recently been playing with a Leica M3 (from Fujiya Camera in Nakano). Attached to it is a lens that I bought a while ago but never used -- a Leica Summaron 35mm f/2.8. This lens has the "goggles" attached for it for the M3. The goggles don't make much sense on my M2 or M7 since they already have 35mm framelines. So I've been waiting to use it on an M3.

I wasn't disappointed. The lens which dates from around 1959 still delivers wonderful color and a soft "bokeh" to the images. These photos were taken with Kodak Portra 400 UC. Not my favorite film, but Kodak sent me some samples. The cat was in the temple grounds of Togo Shrine, near Harajuku. The store below is just around the corner from my house in Ogikubo.
