The Voigtlander 15mm is a nice little lens to walk around town with. It's particularly suited for small environmental portraits. For example, situating this small statue of a Boddhisatva within the larger context of the Buddhist temple it is in. The water is to wash your hands with. It's not as formal as a Shinto shrine, where washing hands and rinsing your mouth is part of the ritual. You can see the main temple building in the rear. The 15mm Voigtlander* is sensitive to flare, there's a bit in the top right corner.
*I wrote in my log that it was taken with the 15mm, but I'm a bit suspicious. It looks like it could have also been taken with the 25mm Color-Skopar. |
